Overview

Background
Corrosion and erosion limits the life and pressure retaining capabilities of nuts and bolts and Increases down time and safety issues if and when disassembly is required.

The Mac-ProtecT is designed as a coating to protect nuts and bolts from corroding when exposed to various environmental conditions i.e. humid climate changes, surface or subsea.

Deployment
The Mac-ProtecT 04 is applied with a brush by hand for best effect. The Mac-ProtecT 04 will convert to flexible solid material which will expand and contract with the product throughout
its natural life.

Removal
Inspection or removal is achieved by cutting and peeling the product from the selected area. The Mac-Protect can be applied directly over existing Mac-ProtecT  after inspection or as a repair.
