KCI Explores New Opportunities Through Pakistan Collaboration
Aberdeen-based engineering company Kinetics Controls & Innovation Ltd (KCI) has signed a Letter of Intent with Pakistan-based Federal Corporation to explore potential opportunities within the country's oil and gas sector.
The agreement reflects a mutual intention to assess where KCI's specialist leak sealing and asset integrity solutions may be able to support operators in Pakistan, with Federal Corporation acting as a local partner to facilitate introductions, market engagement and future discussions.
The relationship has been established through existing industry connections, with senior representatives at Federal Corporation already familiar with KCI's capabilities and track record through previous work with major operators in the Middle East.
Kevin Watt, Managing Director of KCI, said: "While Pakistan is not currently one of our target growth markets, we're always open to exploringopportunities where there is a good strategic fit and trusted local relationships in place.
"Federal Corporation has a strong understanding of our business and the value our solutions can bring to operators. Signing this Letter of Intent allows both organisations to explore potential opportunities and better understand the needs of the local market."
Headquartered in Aberdeen, KCI, an employee-owned company, has more than 24 years of experience supporting operators around the world with engineered leak sealing and well integrity solutions designed to reduce downtime, extend asset life and minimise the need for more intrusive intervention methods.
While still at an early stage, the Letter of Intent marks a positive first step in exploring how KCI's experience and technologies could support operators in Pakistan. Both organisations look forward to continuing discussions, strengthening relationships within the local energy sector and identifying opportunities where their combined expertise can deliver value in the years ahead.
